Redirecting pages for practical joke

Is there any way of redirecting all web pages to a different URL.. for example, no matter what URL the user types in, IE automatically goes to google or whatever. I presume there is a way via the hosts file but im not sure.

In index.php put this:

<? header("Location: http://websiteaddress.com"); ?>

You could try this in the hosts file:

64.233.183.103 *
