These are my current build specs:

CoolerMaster Elite 430 Windowed Case £64.99
Asus M4N68T-M LE NForce 630a (Socket AM2+/AM3) DDR3 Motherboard £47.99
OCZ Special OPS 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit £34.99
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM £30.98
Sony Optiarc AD-5260S 24x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) £15.98
Windows 7 Home Premium - 1 PC £60.00
TOTAL: £436.91
Please note that this build is a gaming pc!

Can anyone reduce this build price without damaging the performance of the pc too much? Ideally I would like a £300-£350 total...

You are not going to do it for that cheap without going second hand or really scaling the spec down.

You could save a bit by dropping the Phenom X4 for a X2 and buying a motherboard that mat unlock the extra cores. It's not a dead cert though.

Drop the cpu to a Athlon ll X3 maybe?

You could always go the intel route with the new sandy bridge I3's

Gigabyte H61M-S2V Intel H61 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £43.99

Intel Core i3-2100 3.10GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 £91.99

The reviews I've read say that the I3 is slightly more powerfull aswell

Hope this helps
