Reducing ping on fibre

Hi

My ping isn't bad by any means, but I was wondering if it's still possible to sacrifice some speed for a better ping? I know you could do this on DSL, but not sure about fibre?

What's the terminology for it that the BT call centre would understand, if it is possible with fibre?

Thanks

You're referring to interleaving mate. AFAIK it's supposed to be turned off by default once a line is seen to be stable (they use Dynamic Line Management, DLM). That said it's known to be rather a flaky system from what little I've read. Still worth an ask I suppose.

Thanks, will have a look into it
It can't be turned off by staff.

Is that a new thing? Thought they used to be able to do this?
