Just spent about 30 mins on the phone in that time I managed to reduce

02 Broadband from £21.50 to £4.75 a month (12 months) £16.75
Sky Package £95 - £76 a month (10 Months) £19
BT £20.60 - £17.60 a month (12 Months) £3

Saving £38.75 a Month

I basically said I'm looking at reducing my bills, whats the best you can offer me before I start looking elsewhere?

Yes I know the Sky is high, full package ESPN multirooms and 3 boys!!

Anyone else got examples and tips

nice one.

No idea who pays £100 for sky though, that is some HD/3D rewind live 360 noscope package you've got there.

Rather than saving money, ive been trying to think of ways to make more (selling old stuff)i suppose the amount of money made would roughly equate to any savings made elsewhere so its more or less the same thing.

Are you looking at across the board money saving? Look at Gas / Elec switch with the usual suspects, that's usually a good one if not done previously plus possible Quidco with new supplier. Quidco is amazing must have had over a grand in last few years, I know its not a price reduction or guaranteed but it's an added bonus if you are buying something anyway.

You're still paying £22.35 a month for line rental + calls + broadband?

I'm sure there are plenty of cheaper options than that...

Yikes how was your Sky package so high without line rental/broadband?

I have everything but the sports package and it's about £35 a month when you remove the monthly line rental/broadband.

I pay £40 a month to BT for my phone and broadband, unlimited broadband and some packages on the phone so the mrs can yack away to her mother for hours. would have thought £22 was a good deal.

Yup I have the all inc BT pack so the add on services plus daytime calls etc
02 They has messed up and I'm now in dispute, they forgot about my static ip :)
Sky basically everything plus multi room boxes, my lads chip in so to me the cost is lower

Sky is pretty good for haggling with, I got my broadband and line rental reduced to 1/2 price for 9 months. Havn't had much success with BT which is one reason why I ditched them.

You can't reduce your sky until the end of the contract though right?

Called up when mine ended back in October/November and they knocked £7 off per month, off what is normally a £35 bill, for six months.

Will call up again and try and wangle more. If they could chuck the movies back in for £8 per month I'd be a happy bunny.

Little do they know the development is not covered by BT or Virgin yet so Sky or Freeview are my only options!

Oh i'm looking forward to the day I get a 4G router that I just plug into the mains and have broadband. Staying in a hotel?, I'll take it there as well.
