Hi, is it possible to swap the fans in an xbox, so it makes less noise?

Are there any good links about to show me how to do it?

The xbox it is quite easy to do but the 360 is another matter, swapping the ones in the 360 would probably cause more harm than good.

Far from it. The Talismoon whisper fans are quieter and push far more air than the stick fans.

I've seen a site with a vid about the Talismoon if that's the one with twin fans & green lights. Looked good & the figures were not bad but voiding my warranty is a no no even though i can only fault my 360 on Noise levels.

I disconnected those annoying LED's.

I bet they used loud fans purposely to make people think "Wow! It's so powerful that it needs turbo jet fans to cool it!"

My Talismoon fans were actually just as loud as my stock 360 fans but they move far much more air so I left them in. I also cut out the LED's :p

Aye, the fans are mega annoying.
And the only way to replace is voiding the MS warranty(which is pretty handy going by the current failure rate)

The best way possible is wrapping it up in a towel and playing for long long peroids of times.
