Looking to get a 2nd hand treadmill as I can't afford a new one. This is one I am looking at. Anyone have any experience with it?

I am 6`3" and about 18 stone so it would need to take my Christmas love :p

Thanks

the problem with old or 2nd hand treadmills is that the belt might be a bit loose. for lighter people this isnt too much of a problem, but for heavier people they can slip a lot, which is a problem!

Get on it and try it. How much is it?

just googled it, looks like its for gym bunnies that are about 6st, not 18st blokes ;)

Yeah I was hoping it would take my extra santa weight ;) Even when I have been running for ages I normally settle on about 15 stone at my lightest.

Ok. I thought it might be a bit lightweight but some reviews were saying it was solid and heavy. So I thought it might be ok.

I need some solid old machine with limited to no extra functions other than running speed. Cheap and functional is what I need.

cheap and functional generally means crap. especially when you are throwing your weight at it :p
