My theory is that within 5 minutes of posting for advice on a forum, you'll normally find the answer to your question elsewhere, hence negating the need to post on a forum in the first place. However, if you don't post the question on a forum to start with, you'll never find the answer.
Does anyone else have the same experience as me? Its happened to me quite a few times this week.
When I'm trying to work something out myself I'll dig around Google and see what I can come up with. If that fails, I take a deep breath, Google from a different angle and try again. If I still can't work it out, I'll normally jump on here or another forum to ask for help. At that point (regardless of whether I've been trying to find the answer for 10 minutes or 10 hours) I'll have a brainwave and magically find the solution somewhere else.
Anyone else? Or just me?
