The best British comedy from the 90s but I cant choose who was the best both had some of the funniest moments on tv, Coogan could just push it for his stand up and his recent Saxdondale.

I would go for Reeves and Mortimer, the weekenders - 'meat festival' slays me every time.. But Coogan is also extremely funny (imo).

I know you said the 90s but Vic and Bob really went down hill in recent years. It's like their humour well dried up.

Chubby Brown

damnit, I was going to guess Chubby Brown!!

Steve Coogan is a very acquired taste - he specialises in that 'awkward moment' comedy - some find it hilarious, some don't. Reeves and Mortimer are a bit stupid for my liking. Not really keen on slapstick.

If I could only choose between them, I'd say Coogan, but given a proper choice, I'd say Harry Enfield or the Fast Show

morbid? Are we watching the same shooting stars? It's all funny voices and hitting each other with stuff - that's slapstick!!

Morbid is the League of Gentlemen

Vic and Bob all the way, they were legends :D

They seem to have gone downhill a bit in recent years, Randall and Hopkirk wasn't really all that good to be honest...
