Ref: AZAB...Whose is the most infamous thread on motors?

I'll never forget

"I've sat in over 1000 cars, I know what a good car is.."

can't remember who said it :)

Yea I remember that one too, I also forget who said it now.

There have been some good ones over the years. Most recently of course, Jimmyt1988 and the amazing and "beautiful" Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 diesel that can do 0-62 in 6.9 seconds :p

He also gave us this little gem, after extolling the virtues of Vauxhall "this is coming from a person who owns a mazda 6 so i know me cars i do." ...yea, I can imagine.

On his brothers, mate's, sister's, great uncle's, brother's, airfield-private road-race track.

Whilst negotiating the non-negotiable speed provided by KENT CAMs, you know, CAMS FROM KENT, and other mods learned from the knowledge book of MAX POWER adverts

The fact that some people feel they NEED to impress people they have never in the main met and worse do it by making stuff up is beyond me but all kids embelish stuff and I suspect the age at which people grow up varies greatly. This was sent from the space shuttle over Dudley.

+1

The internet seems to provide a nice barrier for people to hide behind, and offers some degree of help in some of their imaginary stories.

What's the point, OcUK detectives will always find out the truths ;)

Fixed.

I think the one that sticks in my mind the most is the twin supercharged Merc C180 project car.

He did write off his Golf GTi by hitting a bull at 80mph on the M1 too...

An old colleague of mine trashed a 17ton Scania by hitting a Bull that escaped from an overturned Horsebox (moral of the story being carry Horses not Bulls perhaps?) that was on the M5 though. :D
