Reference letter advice

hmm...i asked my boss for an eployer's reference letter today, and he said no problem, if i write it, he will sign it.

problem is...i have NO idea what to write, or the correct form for the letter...

can anyone help me out?

I have known [employee name] for [insert time period]. During that time [employee name] has excelled and become a valuable asset to this company. He is a committed individual to my workforce whom has demonstrated exceptional organisational, mangerial and time keeping skills. With these he has assisted me in building up this company into a reptutable and established player in [insert workplace field]. I wish him the very best in his job move should you accept him into your organisation.

Something like that?
