I'm going to wait until Christmas time to buy all this stuff. So hopefully some of it will be cheaper by then.

I think I'll go with the 2500K, thanks jamiegray85!

stulid should I go with the Intel rather than AMD?

The new AMD BD chip will be out by then so I would ask closer to the time as it might bench the same/better for certain things, I'm assuming it's going to be used as a gaming rig hence my suggestion of the i5. If it's things more like video editing then the new BD or x6 core might be more suited but i'm speculating until good benchmarks are out on the BullDozer chips.

I suggested the 2500K with a P67 for the ability to overclock, if this isn't a route you wan't to use then Stulid's build is for you. Also noticed he's got cheaper RAM.

I think I'll stick to the 2500K and just switch the RAM out to 2x4GB blue vengeance Corsair ones. I'd like to have 8GB RAM.

Thanks for all your help,
Billy

No its not as fast even with the overlcock as a stock speed i5 2500K.

And the motherboard isnt AM3+

Okay... Guess it's 2500K for me :D

On another note, how do I layout the basket like jamiegray85 did?

It's mostly going to be used for gaming. BFBC3, RIFT, LoL and the like.
