I've been gaming for years at 1920*1080 60fps. My monitor is 1080p 60Hz. If I were to build a new pc and move to a higher resolution and fps, would I also need to upgrade my monitor?
If my monitor is only refreshing 60 times a second does that mean that anything above 60fps is a bit redundant, as the monitor won't be able to keep up for me to feel the benefit? Or does it not work like that?
