Hi All,
This may be a stupid question, but what determines the refresh rate for a monitor? I have one monitor that has a whole variety of different refresh rates (23Hz, 24Hz, 30Hz, 50Hz, 59Hz, 60Hz) and another monitor that only has the option for 59Hz.
I ask because, I'm attempting to use a BlackMagic Intensity pro in order to capture/stream games. The only settings that are allowed by the capture card (in 1080p) are 23.98Hz, 24Hz, 25Hz, 29.97Hz and 30Hz.
It is working fine for one of the PCs, as I have just been able to set the refresh rate to 24Hz. However, as the other monitor only has 59Hz as an option, it doesn't seem to work...
At a real loss with this one. Any help would be hugely appreciated!
Thanks.
