Refreshing album art in wmp11?

)Well this is still bugging me.. 
I've tried deleting the files from wmp's library but each time I re add them the 'small thumb nail view' still shows the original file. However when I switch to 'now playing' in wmp the new picture is showing!?
What I've found is that even when there is no jpg or image (outside of wmp) in my dirs the dir is still showing this damn thumbnail. By this I mean when you select thumbnails view from an explorer pane it shows a little picture of the first image in each directory overlaid over it. This image is now always shown even when there is no bloody image in the directory nor are there any images attached to the mp3s!!
Gah!
Obviously windows is somehow caching this image somewhere. Does anyone know how to delete this or reset it somehow??
