As title really, I believe in the initial version of ReFS, incremental backup wasn't a possibility. I know there was something about ReFS not storing metadata like NTFS, so the archive flag didn't exist for it to be set for incremental/differential backups. I'm wondering if that's still the case, I can't really find anything (recent) on it either way. It's pretty important and necessary for enterprise environments, where a full-backup is just impossible in the timescale - even my own home server takes a little over 24 hours to backup 5TB to a parity array.
Anyone know anything?
