https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/storage/refs/refs-overview sounds like this has some features that would be nice for a home OS. Plus what's up with some of those missing features, sounds like a server could use them. Like File system encryption missing, come on guys. Just combine the good features of NTFS with it. Plus Unix FSs (Linux too I would think) don't fragment, it is 2021 MS, update or retire NTFS.
