Would you buy refurb AIO, or is it not worth risking it? Prices are way way cheaper than new.

I would hope a new pump motor is fitted, and checked for leaks, topped up if needed.

I wouldn't. It's either already failed and hopefully whatever failed has been replaced which could mean it will fail again or it's been returned for some unknown reason and has most likely just been checked that it's working and put back into it's box for resale ready for the next unlucky customer to be unhappy with it. Refurbs/B-Grade typically come with a much shorter warranty while only have a small amount taken off the sale price. Some sellers idea of refurbishing something is making sure it's all there and sticking it back into it's box so you can't be sure in any way that it's been done to the standards that you expect.

There are several things I wouldn't buy as a refurb/B-grade and that includes AIO's, PSU's, storage drives and memory.

I did buy a WD recertified drive, due to the absurd price difference between brand new retail, and recertified.

Refurb and it's not even in this country?

£50 or less gets you a brand new 360 aio with a 25mm radiator from Thermalright with a 3 year warranty.

Lol you bunch of chickens!

In the case of Arctic I'd give it a whirl - their customer service, in my experience, is excellent. I had an arctic liquid freezer II AIO a few years back that had a potential issue with a gasket - they allowed anyone who had one to send them back for a replacement or would send you a kit to replace the gasket yourself. I had one at the time and the whole thing was very smooth and efficient. While it's obviously better that it hadn't happened, they demonstrated exactly how to handle issues like that. I suppose it might be those they're selling as refurbished? (It won't be my old one, I still have it and it still performs wonderfully.)

Doesn't seem they ship to the uk.

Suppose it doesn't matter then. But really good pricing.

As long as it's leak tested, I think it also says full warranty, new pump, topped up, fittings checked for tigthtness (and they screwdown on a crimp?) I might have considered it.

I bought a refurbed corsair h100 from over clockers, it had a cross threaded screw on the mounting bracket so it that screw was slightly crooked. I ran it for about 5+ years, it never failed.

No.

The weakest point in an AIO is the pump and you have no idea whether a new one has been fitted. Buying an AIO with an unknown mileage on the pump is just a bad plan.

It would have been tested and if it was the pump I'm sure they would change it, I've had two vrm fans fail on me and they have been great and replaced both.
