I am looking at getting a new laptop and have seen one with this spec:
HP Pavilion with AMD Phenom™ II X3 P820 processor
17.3" WSLCD
3GB (DDR3)
320GB
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
Plus all the usual stuff you'd expect
£419

It's a refurbished laptop but considering the specs I think it's a good deal and has the sort of specs I want.
What do you guys think?
Is it worth considering or should I avoid refurbs all together?
Thanks

No need to buy refurb really.

You can get something with that spec or notably better new if you can live with a 15" not 17". Pavilion dv6-6001sa AMD Phenom™ II X4 P960 Processor with AMD Radeon HD 6470M comes in at circa £400 to £450 for example.

HP Pavilion laptops start at £350 with the ati 5470 in

it depends what you want, could certinly get Dell XPS L501x( think thats the model name with I3 CPUs for about £450 with VAT.

it depends what you want at the end of the day, sometimes its best to buy new rather than refurb

but yah I agree dell outlet has some awsome deals or should I say bang for buck ;)
