Regarding my recent bios flash.

Hi all

Ive just updated my ASUS P5E bios to the newest one. Well the old version was 0903 all the way to the new one.

My problem is ever since ive done this the computer hasnt been working "so to speak"

When i hit the power button everything sounds like its starting up but theres no display screen and no way of working the keyboard or the mouse. Have i really nackered my motherboard up by doing this or is they a really simple solution?

I checked google first but was really baffled with what to actually type in in google.

have you tried resetting the cmos at all? although this probably wont make much difference if the flashing process went wrong or was interupted.

If the bios update completed ok, things should be fine

It couldnt have been the wrong bios, as it would have let you know....

I say try clearing the CMOS as mentioned above, defo your first port of call!

yeha clean CMOS.
If still nothing, try popping your mobo CD in. I have the P5K, andso I'm assuming yours should auto detect the bios update and flash it.
