Region 1 DVD's

Hi,

Im looking to watch some Region 1 DVD's through my MBP. I tried running the DVDs through VLC but they dont seem to be working and I cant change the region on my DVD drive anymore. I know for windows there is software called 'AnyDVD' which lets you watch any region of DVD. Hope someone can help me.

I don't know how much luck you'll have on your MBP, but I managed to flash the firmware on my Mac Pro to allow Region X to work.

Depending on what superdrive you have, you will definately have to flash the firmware to region free.

What Superdrive do you have?

Same as mine, you'll need to flash it.

I've uploded what's needed there (I didn't create the software, just kept hold of it after I flashed mine), but bear in mind that you do it at your own risk and if you break it it's not my fault etc etc. - there is a readme file there that tells you what's what.
