Was going to buy this:

Basically it does say Region 1 but will this work on UK dvd players? how can I find out if it will?

It'll only work if you have a multi region DVD player. UK is region 2 so if its region locked it wont work.

Okay would it work on a PS2? I have a top of the range Sony dvd player, wondering if it would work on that.

Thing is I can't seem to find this box set elsewhere online

I'm pretty sure PS2s are region locked.

Yeah, PS2's aren't region free by default...think you can chip them, but that's beyond me. Especially as I don't have a PS2.

you could watch it on your computer, you can change the region coding 5 times on a dvd drive

For PS2 region unlock, you can use legit Xploder cheat CDs (or other brand). THey usually include a region unlock CD you insert and then remove before playing your film. (£9.99-£29.99)
