whats the difference and can you use it with unregistered,its the same cas2 its corsair?

Just found out i have 1 gig of corsair 3500 mem in Nf7 MB.

My friend has 1 gig of registered corsair 3200.to sell for £30.

Would the 3200 work ok in the NF7 and would it be any faster than the 3500.?

Very unlikely. As far as I know registered memory is very stable, but much slower than unregistered as registered memory (excuse more techy language) checks things twice as it were to make sure that the operation it is performing is correctly done.
