Posted recently on my computer turning itself off for no reason, and someone said that it might be overheating, well...

Looking at this, you can see that i have 2 GPU's registered when my pc only has a nvidia gefore G210 512mb graphics card.

does anyone know how i can get rid of this 9200 graphics cards that registering? maybe thats why it thinks its overheating and shutting down?

Thanks for help in advance.

just disable onboard graphics via bios or through computer management

ah k i see now, where would this computer management be, in the control panel or somewhere? sorry for being so demanding, maybe paste a /c: link or something?

Cheers anyhow will try this soon.

Thanks :)

Have a browse in the bios, it will say something along the line of 'disable onboard graphics'. I hope those temps aren't accurate tho lol.

hopefully :) warranty i think is out by a couple of weeks, so hope for the best, dont know what to do in BIOS so i will get my uncle to have a look when possible.

Thanks again.

Can't you just have a look through it? just use left and right arrows along with enter and escape, if you change anything by accident then just dont save the changes.

but if it's the onboard gpu, it shouldn't be running if you are using the vga/dvi port on the gpu.

basically if you get a picture through the gpu card, the onboard shouldn't be working, try your cable in the onboard gpu port
