So this internet friend, guy I thought I trusted, had me change a registry file to fix problems I was experiencing that turned out to be hardware related and I fixed. I'm vexed now because as part of his fix he had me change one of my windows registry files. I copy/pasted this exact bit of code and it confirmed with a popup my registry was changed. Is there any way this registry file change is the cause of me not being able to install any regular windows 10 updates, or the fact it will error out of a system restore point and even a hard reset in even safe mode? That's the main problem I'm having now and it's prompting me to be worried elsewhere on my pc and security. I know I'm fool, please help shed some light, though!
