Hello all :)

I'm looking at changing my insurers to one that either completely includes track insurance on the policy or provides a discount towards track insurance.
My age of 21 definitely won't help matters on a 325bhp 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI - Greenlight have said no already.

Probably will be doing around 8 a year that I would need insuring for.

Alternatively any recommendations for a regular trackday insurer? i.e. discounts for multiple track days or returning customers - a quick google search for this has not helped as I need to provide the dates of the trackdays at quote inception which I cannot do.

Who do you use / any recommendations?

Thanks.

Avoid idiots and don't bother with insurance. You'll be fine.

(My cars worth about 5p so I can say that)

On a serious note, a few mates use CCI for combined road and track insurance. Moris is also mentioned a lot on the Clio forums.

To be fair, if I had a car worth about 5k I don't think I'd bother with insurance. Kind of regretting spending as much as I did on mine and not getting a daily and a track weapon :p but **** it. I'll keep it for a year and see what happens.

Will check out CCI, thanks. Moris are on the list.

EDIT: Heh, the way Mrs Brown pronounces the F word is starred out :/

Was either Sky or Greenlight that had optional track insurance for me but i never did use it as the excesses are still always very high and i figured i could probably just reshell my scooby at the time for the price of the excess and a handful of days worth of insurance premium if i did ever bin it.

generally have to be over 25 to access their track insurance deals and even then it probably isnt worth it in relativity to just buying it on the occasion you need it.

I stopped bothering with it.
