If i buy a game region free from some where such as play-asia will it have Japanese/Foriegn subtitles or will it be as if i bought it from a shop here?
 
Man, 3rd time this week this has been asked, but for the sake of the question it would be easier to reply than search and find relevant answers.

It's generally a PAL title anyway, often from Australia. The only one I have had that wasn't is Dead Or Alive 4 which was all in English anyway.
 
Got Splinter Cell from play-asia last week. It is a PAL version so obviously is fully English etc.

The only games that aren't usually state specifically, but most 'foreign' games are not region free.
 
Yeah there are a few things to point out, theres a great list on a well known xbox modding site maybe i can transcribe it here?

Fact is Region Free = English. This is because, so far, none of the fully jap games like project sylpheed have been region free. And any others will be multi lingual.

I know that this is true for the Xbox 360, but is it the same for other platforms? The original poster didn't actually state which platform he's interested in.
