Hi all,

This summer I built a PC for the first time. Here are the specs:
i5 2500k (not overclocked)
MSI Nvidia GTX 570
Asus p8z68-V motherboard
8gb Ram
500gb HDD
etc

Over the last couple of weeks Windows has become very sluggish and unstable so I've decided to do a complete reinstall - wipe everything and start again. I've also decided to add a 64gb Crucial M4 SSD as my OS drive and to take the opportunity to update any relevant dirvers, software, BIOS and so on.

Trouble is, I'm a total noob and can't even remember which order to install the drivers and so on.

What would be the best way forward? Any and all advice is welcome. For example, would it be best to use the CDs that came with my hardware first, and then 'update' things where necessary, or should I download the stuff from somewhere and use that first. Should I run windows update before installing any hardware drivers, etc etc etc.

So far I've found this post on setting up the SSD:

I tend to download the latest drivers from the manufacturers website (motherboard) and install personally in no particular order, i tend to do the motherboard driver first and then the gpu.
