Reinstall of Win7

Hey Guys

I am thinking of reinstalling Win7 on another harddrive due to a possible harddrive failure, and I was wondering if I needed to do anything with the licencing of Windows so I get no issues with my new installation.

Provided you do not run two installations concurrently (i.e. you will nuke one of the installs regardless of whether or not you do have a disk failure) then all you need to do is re-install and re-activate. Be aware however you 'might' have to phone to do this, but if this is the first re-install you almost certainly won't have to speak with anyone, just go through the automated prompts.

Ah thats ok then. Yea it is my first reinstall, installed first on day of release.

Even if a phone call is needed thats fine, as long as I dont need to wait for 3-4hours to speak to someone!
