reinstall OSX What Happens to Bootcamp

If i have OSX Leopard on Drive 1 and Bootcamp on Drive 2 in a mac pro and say Snow Leopard Releases & i want to Reinstall OSX Snow Leopard Will it Auto Detect Bootcamp Drive Or Does it Vista64bit need to be reinstalled.

it will be more than likely the same as to doing a reinstall over the leapoard installation you currently have. someone here wil have done it recently. I'm betting everything gets wiped.

Different HDs/Partions?

If so doesn't matter, at all, your bootcamp will be fine.

Not that Snow Leopard is out anytime soon and by then you will be due a reinstall

It'd like to know this too. Does it not wipe out the MBR record?

It searches for all bootable HDs.

Hence why it takes a few seconds for it to appear on the HD list.

However this could just be confirming its existence.

I think you will be fine!
