Hi all,

A few questions for you. I need to reinstall xp as ive installed way too much rubbish and its starting to run like a dog.

What is a good piece of imaging software? Preferably free if at all possible. One thing though - I do not have a floppy drive so will need to be cd based.

This is so I can format my machine then get it running nicely and image it just in case I ever need to do it again.

Also, what sequence would you recommend installing my drivers etc in?

Lastly Ive got a copy of Media Centre here which Ive not used (came with a machine which I wiped and put xp pro on). I do use my machine for tv-out with my x800gto2. Would MCE be an advantage for me or should I just use xp pro with the ati tv-out software and media player classic?

Thanks all.

I use Acronis True Image at work and at home, you do have to pay for it but it is well worth the money. :)

With Acronis you can also create a secure zone on your drive to store your image if you wish.

You May As Well Stick Windows MCE On, As Its Just XP Pro With The Added Media snazzy Bits.

As For Imaging, Acronis True Image Or Norton Ghost Will Do The Trick...
