I have this mobo:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-268-OK&groupid=43&catid=1817&subcat=

And am getting this one tomorrow:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-349-GI&groupid=701&catid=1903&subcat=2046

When I swap the mobos over tomorrow, will I need to reinstall Windows? Or should I be able to transfer processor, SSD (with win7 on it) without any issues (theoretically)?

I'm getting a new gfx card as well

Im in a similar situation as of tomorrow and would love to know the answer too (luckily a wise chinese man back in the day showed me the benefits of partitioned drives)

I replaced the PSU and am buying a new case arriving tomorrow as well, I have a 750w be quiet psu as well it's all going to fit be fine :)

Just worried about the mobo.

I have a lot of things that took ages to set up on this copy of windows, IIS7.5, SQL Server etc, it's going to be a royal PITA to set them all up again if I have to for my work so would rather not if possible.

I'll back everything up of/c, but theoretically I should be able to switch mobos?

My friend swapped Mobo's just fine, might throw up a load of errors and u need to uninstall old crap but should be ok.

I usually reinstall windows when swapping any parts like the MB as it will need new drivers. you could try using acronis bare metal I think it is then it will redetect all new hardware when restoring
