Hiya folks

Need to do a reinstall on win7 on my laptop. It gets canned and has been about 3 yrs or so.

Not worried about most of it apart from Outlook 2013 (office365)

I have a number of email accounts and staff holidays etc booked on the calendar.

How/what is the easiest way to restore these back to normal after I've reinstalled

Thanks
Matt

You should be able to export these to a pst.

If you want to test it before hand try the following;-

1. Export calendar entries to pst
2. Create a new outlook profile called Test (control panel > mail)
3. Launch outlook using the test profile & setup your imap accounts
4. Import the calendar entries to this test profile

This way you are doing a dry run for when you re-install

You could also try the Windows Easy Transfer tool in Accessories > System Tools.
It's intended for moving data from old pc to new pc but works just as well before and after Windows reinstall on same pc.
I usually like to reconfigure Outlook profiles from scratch after my reinstalls rather than import using wizards, but I tried the transfer tool for the first time few months ago out of curiosity and it seemed to restore my Outlook settings.
I already had my pst files and other data backed up on another HDD so unticked a lot of things during the step by step wizard and it did restore my mail profiles for me.
It does offer to backup and restore docs, music, videos and photos etc but you can pick and choose.
I'd still make sure you have backups anyway but you could always try the easy transfer tool in a virtual pc first if not used it before.
