Reinstall XP - Black screen

Hi,

I'm trying to do a reinstall of XP on a computer, but after the "Press any key to boot from CD" bit, its goes to checking hardware configuration, then the screen just goes blank, and nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Faulty DVD/CD maybe??

Have you used it before?

Yep, everything works, disk drive and disk, on other computers

Not sure then mate. Have you gat another install disk?

Maybe post this in the Windows & other software?

I'm sure somebody here will have had the problem before.
