My aunt got a 1520 for Christmas, its got vista basic on it and it has about 77running process when at idle. I've removed some of the crap that came with it, AOL etc etc. I can't see anything else in the add/remove programs that is useless and needs taking of.
Would a reinstall be the best way to lower the running processes? Or will the Dell vista disc just reinstall all that nasty poo again?
Or if a reinstall seems a bit drastic, I can have a look in startup under system management, which I havn't done yet, which i've just remembered about.
