Reinstalling .Net Framework 3.0 in Vista?

Some of my file appear to be corrupt.

Ive tried the "Turn Windows features on/off" feature and that has not helped.

I downloaded the 3.0 redistrutable however I cannot run it as it tells me to use the "Turn Windows features on/off" feature.

Any help appreciated.

This isn't to do with your problem (sorry), but are there any books out now which concern .net 3.0? If so, any recommendations?
