Hey all,

Got myself a new Motherboard (Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master) and a new SSD as well for it. My Win 10 is linked to my Microsoft Account and have the USB done to install it all from.

If I understand things right, even if the MB and SSD will be brand new, once I done the Win 10 installation I then can reactivate it by logging into my Microsoft Account and then run their troubleshooter ??

Any and all advice greatly appreciated. I be doing this tomorrow hopefully and want to make sure I have everything sorted before I start.

Thanks !

@drakulton All seems to have worked fine, now on the freshly installed win10 and so far all good.

Now just have to reinstall all programs and fine tune it to my liking again ! :( :o :p

Alright, sorry for bumping up my old thread, but thought it be better then create a new one about same subject ! :p

So, have got myself a NVMe M.2 stick and thinking of making a new install of win10 on it. Can I use the same USB stick installer as I used last time and it will give me the latest version of Win10 ? Asking because I noticed this morning that for some reason Windows never updated me from version 2004 to the latest which are now 21H1, which was released in May of this year (And yes, I have not thought about it before, mostly because it all have been working as it should). Or should I make a new USB installer ?

Thank you for any and all suggestions !

I'd say create a new usb image the latest updates are massive and saves doing 30gb update
Thanks, just did that.

Hopefully the machine will automaticity find the USB when I do the new installation on the M.2 drive. I be unplugging all the HDD's when doing it as well, just to make sure it only end up on the M.2.
