Reinventing Superman.

Got in touch with my child side over the past couple of days and have taken it upon myself to reinvent Superman.

I have done loads of sketches and am at the point where I have started using illustrator to colour him in.

Take a look at these early skatches.

Will post some more up as I go along.

The best thing I think about it is the new logo, I took the S and made it into the shape of the symbol on his chest.

When I get it all done I am ganna do 1 page of a comic and do it the best I can.

Just would like to know what you guys think?

No offense rto you mate, but in muy opinion that;s crap.

prefer it if you keep your comments a lil less harsh mate.

Just say you don't liek it.

Been trying really hard on this for a couple of days and for someone to say it's carp is a lil harsh.

Yeah I wanted peoples opinions (constructive critism by all means) but thats just a lil to harsh.

I'm sorry. But that is my opinion. Didnt mean to offend. But if you're going to reinvent one of the greatest superhoes of our time then it's gonna take something mighty impressive to, well, impress me.

Your right, trying to reinvent the greatest of all time will take something more impressive

Am I alone in not seeing what the actual point in reinventing superman is?

1 - THe point is I really enjoy drawing and just decided to do it for abit of fun.

Also, if those sketches are 2 days work I would seriously consider giving it up.

2 - If your ganna comment on my work like that then shut your mouth and don't bother posting, that really was a kick in the balls when I read that.
I have lots of extra sheets with sketches for symbols and poses and stuff. I just enjoy drawing, might not be the best but I sure as hell enjoy doing it.

yeah suppose I should exspect some critism, but its just really annoying when you try really hard and someone just comes and put's you down.

Been messingh about with it some more. Will post some more when I get the chance.
