Rekordbox / Deck setup

Hey guys,

Im getting a new laptop tomorrow to setup Rekorbox on it and use it to control my music to my players..

The issue I'm having is figuring how to set it all up, such as the players and mixer via USB to the laptop to speak to each other?

@wez130 or anyone that has an idea please let me know, im a little baffled atm!

Think...think I have it..

Ethernet from my laptop, to a switch and then from the switch to the players..

I use a multi channel Behringer mixer in my setup, so my Denon X1800 mixer goes into a channel on the Behringer, however, I believe if I wanted to connect to PC from the Denon, it would be with ethernet. My Behringer connects to PC via USB though.

hi mate, you have the denon sc don’t you?

if so, can you answer me this..can you use dual waveform on both decks, rather than traditional beat grid? Like the Pioneers do?

Looked into it, you can’t get other deck waveforms on the Denon. Hope they add it in a update, it’s quite surprising they don’t atm!

you are correct, you can only get the wave form from both layers on one deck, what you're asking has been getting requested for ages though, hopefully they will introduce it soon.

Yeah, it’s the only thing causing me to consider the pioneer alternate, only thing..the price!
