When are new motherboards coming out to replace the faulty sandybridge ones ?

would really like to buy a core i7 set up but dont want a faulty motherboard so am waiting on new ones (i understand its rare that they are faulty but i dont want to take that risk)

The risk is so small that it's not even worth being bothered about.

Plus, will you even be using the 3Gbps SATA ports?

The motherboards are currently being shipped, not sure when UK will be getting stock but the first shipments have started to enter the logistic chain.

I would use at least 4 of the sata slots because of 2 mechanical HDD and 1 SSD with a disk drive, and i really dont want to spend 100's on somthing which has a potential design fault so im definatly waiting on new boards

thanks for the replies :]

not long to wait now i guess

also everyone trying to sell their board in future will not sell it ! unless its the new version.

keep yours with pleasure but let the people who want a 100% working board swap theirs in peace

thats why :p
