Looking for one of these for my girlfriend. (I'll probably want a go as well).

Is it possible to get them for around £500. Don't really want to spend anymore than that. I looked at the lexmotos, but I'm against the rusting and general cheapo brand.

I like the Honda PCX 125. It's on 0% APR at the moment, £65 per month for 3 years. That's two takeaways a month (for fat people). Seems a bargain. I am however paranoid she will fall off it and mangle it (She can't drive)... hence the wanting a cheaper scooter.

If you're scared shell crash it why buy new? Take a look on ebay for some used ones but try to go for something... not chinese

Maybe even something like an old Honda CG so she can have gears too?

I had a Honda SH125 09 from new for some 12000 miles before I got rid of it two years later, never let me down. Big wheels so inspired more confidence when cornering than smaller wheeled scooters.

Getting something decent for £500 will be hard, your better off going the new route with low finance if that really is an option... otherwise I'd find more funds for a decent second hander.

EDIT: This on the bay 170900457322, B125 is a big wheel scoot, had one for 3 years, never had problems with it.
