Looks a bit fruity. Is it a Beardmore creation?

Nah - it's not Johns...Although his old RV8 kitten is owned by a guy in Sunderland who is rebuilding it with a Chevy LS.

Robin's putting MX5 running gear in a Minor ATM...looks good.

This Kitten is the company car for Newcastle MOT Test centre in Stoke...

I had a reliant Kitten for a day way back in 1995 when my RGV 250 was in for a service .

It caught fire after 20 minutes.

A pair of TL1000 motors pushing something that weighs on par with a fag packet, does it come with a side order of lillies? :p

Insane. How do you sync two engines like that?

It can be done like this...

What I seem to remember of that car is one engine drives each axel (one front one rear) and has on gearshift that does both boxes.

I expect that the Reliant will be done differently though as both engines are rear mounted...but making sure they are tuned the same and running off the same throttle shouldn't be too hard really. You'll get them running the same, not sure on exactly how they then put the power down though.

Yup. Yet another slow, rusty car from the Retro-Rides stable. ;)

Both engines have a chain drive to a common axle.

With this method, any discrepancies in revs between the two engines cancel each other out. A slower-revving engine will be brought up to speed by a faster-revving engine and vice versa.

If anyone's seen a twin bike-engined autograss special launch, they will know how potent this setup is. Expect the front wheels to lift...

I was expecting a quicker 1/4 mile time than that, is it going to be able to put the power down when it has the second engine too?
