Relic Ipod

Hey,

Soo gonna get straight into it, my friend has a relic ipod that he wants to use with my itunes but i cant find the software for it to run with it, and dont even know if it will... i use windows vista and this bad boy is the old old ipod with the four buttons and the wheel with the centre button before the click wheel.. think its the 2nd gen ipod or maybe the 3rd gen. Anyway how can i get this working? <3 Lots of love to people with answers in advance <3

It's doubtful that Vista is going to support the original iPod tbh.

install iTunes. It will work with them all...

Only possible issue is that it might be Mac formatted... but then a simple restore once iTunes recognises it will be enough.

The iPod software should come with iTunes as standard. But you've got a retro FireWire iPod there, so I'm not so sure.

Have you tried installing the latest iTunes and plugging it in?
