relocation of Phone, other than main socket

Hello,

I'm getting a main connection feeding into the second bedroom for my computer gear and unfortunately for me which I don't like that the main phone will also be up there.

So I'm going to look at other options so that the landline phone will be in the living room. So what devices would be recommend? WiFi or wire.

I'm not going to have a phone in the second bedroom and want to able to get a phone elsewhere that will work 100% with no connection loss nor lagging when I'm doing heavy internet usage and another family member on phone.
 
What internet connection will it be? ADSL or FTTC?

What socket do you currently have? If you have a MK3 or MK4 faceplate, you can easily run another phone extension socket, to move just the phone downstairs.

Having a phone anywhere shouldn't affect your internet in any way, certainly shouldn't cause collection loss or lag.

It's a Master Socket 5C And at the moment its ADSL and will be for a couple of weeks till its been tested for speed and usage and hopefully it be upgraded to the max available speed of 27mps. Hopefully!!

Aren't MK3 or MK4! Right?

A 5C is the new style socket, and can still have an additional phone extension run, by simply removing the faceplate, and attaching the extension wiring to the blue connections:

With this you will still need a Microfilter in each phone socket that is in use as far as I know (as opposed to the MK4 faceplate https://www.run-it-direct.co.uk/mk4btopenreachvdslsocket.html which could be fitted, that filters as part of the socket)

It's white not blue and I thought I would use Wireless Phone Jack device but I honestly wouldn't know what the best option, so you say it's wired?
 
Why don't you use DECT phones? The base station would need to plug into the master socket but you'd only need the phone in there for charging. Any additional handsets could be placed where ever you want.

I consider but aren't what I wanted since I be doing recording and don't really want to have a phone in the room. That's the reason
 
You can have the DECT base station in your room, but keep the handsets elsewhere and charge of a second sub base unit. Just make sure the base unit you get doesn't ring with the phone.
