remember the "tree man" from last year?

Some of you may remember the guy who had that horrible skin condition where he grew root like warts from his skin, and was christened the "tree man" by the media.

Well it seems as if his media appearance has paid off for him!

He has had a good percentage of them removed and a drug given that should slow down any further growth. At last he can have a life now and its great to see a bit of good news in the headlines for once.

Did they ever figure out what caused it? Was it some bizarre fungal infection or something?

They were some rare jungley warts.

The last we heard on the program he refused surgery and went off with his freak circus again. Glad he saw sense and got treatment.
