Remember these Top Gear presenters?

i could remember there was an old topgear but not who was on it, and my understanding was that bbc sold it to channel 5, then clarkson some-how got it all back again....but obviously my understanding is wrong

quiten and tiff both annoy.

Not sure I get where all the Jason Dawe hatred comes from, always seemed like a fairley decent presenter to me, he's a bit fond of using the old magic marker on car windscreens but I didn't mind him :confused:

Yeah he does my head in too, also seems quite happy to stand up as a "motoring expert" and read a load of old inaccurate tosh from an autocue if the price is right.

Yep. After Clarkson left old Top Gear they tried to make it much more PC, I think she only did people carriers and enviromental issues. There was also that woman with the frizzy hair, oh and John Bentley did the odd bit.

Given that 5th gear have gone utterly daft I reacon there would be space in the shedules for a much more review focused show.

I dislike Jason Dawe hugely. Every time he opens his mouth on that dire Used Car Roadshow programme I just want to run on set and shout YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG.

Because he normally is.

Kate Humble? She did at least one series near the end.

I'd forgotten Goffey: listening to him was like being corned by a train spotter. Which, in a nutshell, is why no-one watches programs about "ordinary" cars - because they are as boring as ****. Top Gear lost all its audience before it realised, and Fifth Gear started to follow suit. It's still rubbish though, V B-H or no.
