Like them. Especially the one of the guy in the white cap smiling. I feel it gives hope. You seem to have captured the feelings of the event (IMHO).

Just wish I had remembered to take my camera out. :(

Also the woman on the horse looks kinda cute.

did these people pose for you (did you ask them) or were they all just captured on the fly ?

Well done

They were all candid shots, didn't ask any of them to pose for me :)

Thanks for the reply!

Nice set of images, the only criticism I have is that this picture could have been composed a bit better to get the bottom medal in the shot aswell, if you hadn't zoomed in quite so close maybe.

Can't fault the rest though, nice one :)

THIS PHOTO is incredible !

Really great set! Think you have done the days event proud with your captures :)

P.S what kit?

P.P.S No idea why your website is called "Soft Focus" when most of the images are so crisp :p

Really nice set of pics, you seem to have captured a the mood of the day. So crisp and sharp! what lenses were you using? the 70-200 f4L by any chance?

All with my 70-200mm F/4 L apart from the wide ones, which were with my Tamron 17-50mm F/2.8 :D

Keep the comments coming guys! Thanks for the ones so far too :D:D

Some nice shots there. I was there today, but as I was there for a party last night, I was too hungover to do anything :(

Shame as I had all my kit with me too :|

Amazingly I still feel hungover :(

Anyway, the shot with the woman in the red coat (with white hair). I'd have a go at converting that to b/w and upping the contrast. I reckon it'd be a nice shot like that :)

Those photos are awesome really seem to capture the mood.

i do have a quick favour though, do you have many more of the actual army band that were playing, in particualr the french horn palyers as I know one of them!

Great shots there dude. My favourites are no: 6 and no:18. The 70-200 Lis really good at capturing the right colours and is pin sharpe. Love the bokeh on your pictures also. very nice to look at. :D
