Congrats to the guys who donated and won :)

I would've bidded but due to lack of funds I cannot finance this, let alone finance my own life!

Incredible... This is what i like to see, i already did my own donation outside of the forums, i love donating to this charity, they did what they did and were basically forced to.

Well done to the winners, you really do make a difference and enjoy your post counts...

Do you think we can just all get together a load of money for children in need and donate on the night, see how we can do compared to some people...

Guys - this is a charity close to my heart as a serving member of HM forces.

I don't think I can thank you enough and I'm touched that so many people on the forum are willing to open the wallet out once a year for the cause. I've given my own donations, but they were hardly a chunk of £210 - you've all put me to shame.

Well done!

Maybe wrong place to ask, I missed this Auction, but will there be a Children in Need one next week? I know many would gladly contribute similar post counts and money to this charity.

Nice one to everyone that donated! Watching Saving Private Ryan at the moment, makes you realise how horrible war is (as if we didnt know before...).

And Im joining the Navy soon, so Its a charity I have a lot of respect for. :)

well done men

Really proud of you all sadly I missed the opportunity to donate my posts next year you can have them all...

Far-called, our navies melt away;
On dune and headland sinks the fire:
Lo, all our pomp of yesterday
Is one with Nineveh and Tyre!
Judge of the Nations, spare us yet.
Lest we forget—lest we forget!
