Remind me - which memtest86 tests are the most difficult to pass?

5 and 8 IIRC.

i use test 5 mostly, if it passes 5, its probably stable enough not to cook windows...
test rarely generates errors untill the last 5% so.

I thought it was 5 and 7, though I never use it now, find that the windows based Memtest will flag up problems much quicker than 86.

If my memory serves me right, it was always #5. And then it crept in that #8 should also be run, forgotten why, but it takes a long time

my Corsair if overclocked always passed all test - but failed at end of "4"
