Remote access and control

I'm looking for software that's free that will allow me to remotely access my brothers computer. He lives like 20 minutes away from me, and he works nights. So it'd be nice to take advantage of his internet connection while he's away.

Obviously my brother will be aware of this. I'm happy to just walk around there most the time, but this would come in handy later at night.

it needs to work between my PC which is Windows XP and my brothers machine which is Windows 7

Remote desktop and just forward the port on his router..

Or you could look at programs like teamviewer or logmein free both would work pretty well.

RDP will only work if his copy of Windows is a Professional or above edition [without some hacking that is].

LogMeIn and TeamViewer are big favourites around these parts as mentioned above.

logmein is the one to use in this situation imo..
