What recommendations can you give me for remote access software? I've tried unsuccessfully to set up a VPN due to their firewall setup and the port forwarding, so I was going to give some remote access software a go instead as the firewall shouldn't block that out.

It needs to be able to run on Server 2000 as that's the box they want to get into outside of work and they want to be able to get into some shared folders/files.

Price is not too much of an issue and bandwidth will be quite low, so what are the options, pay once or monthly subscription? a 14 day trial would be handy so we can try it out.

Cheers.

I can't get remote desktop, VPN etc to work because they have two firewalls in series and I can't get the ports to forward through both of them. There is no way they will consider switching off their system so taking the extra 'wall out is annoyingly not an option.

RAdmin is one option except we don't want the user to have control of the server, just access to shared folders. On that note that rules out Remote Desktop.

Bledd, any chance you can PM/email/MSN me about your Crohns. My g/f has it and it would be great to chat.
